For this year’s native species art show, 144 pieces from 104 local Maui artists were entered and 78 pieces were selected to represent 65 artists by jurors Connie Adams and Dr. Art Medeiros. EMWP is grateful to the community for their support of this project – the artists who hiked and did research to create an original piece, the folks at Viewpoints Gallery who have given generously their time and expertise, the teachers and students who studied the native flora and fauna, the businesses and organizations who donated printing and prizes and of course, mahalo to everyone that comes to the exhibition and supports EMWP through buying local art!
For more information or to purchase artwork, please contact Viewpoints Gallery at 808-572-5979. A portion of all sales from this exhibition will go towards protecting the native rainforests of windward Haleakalā.
