Hawaii is a uniquely beautiful place on planet Earth. We can enjoy the sun, surf, rainforest and mountains all around us. I chose unique and whimsical flora and fauna in my mosaic. They are 'Iliahi (Santalum haleakalae), Nananana makaki'i (Happy Face Spider) and Auku'u (Black-Crowned Night Heron) with a "fish hook" feather on its head.
