It’s no secret, you are the reason we succeed! There are many ways you can help keep the East Maui Watershed flowing. This can take many forms from online action to in-person activism, volunteering or by supporting our work with a donation; we rely on you to ensure a healthy watershed for future generations to come. Here are a few ways we can suggest to “Get Involved”.
Careers in Conservation
Whether you work with East Maui Watershed Partnership or one of the many other conservation organizations, a great way to get involved is to make it your career. There are several places to get involved in environmental work on Maui at the State, Federal, and non-profit level.
Adopt a Fence
This program was created as a way to show your support by helping fund our field projects. With the adopt a fence program your name will be honored with a plaque hung on one of our fences.
We rely on the help of individuals with wide variety of interests, skills, and availability. Most volunteer opportunities range from helping to do field work to office work.
East Maui Watershed Partnership does not currently have it own volunteer program. Please check out check out Hear.org for other volunteer opportunities.
We won’t make you fly in and pick weeds along the fence line, but you can help us by getting involved in making a tax deductible donation to support East Maui Watershed Partnership’s efforts or by joining our Adopt a Fence program. Visit our Donation page for more information.
You can help us spread the word of the watershed. Visit the education tab for upcoming events you can join us at, to find resources to learn about the watershed and how to go green, and for opportunities to have an EMWP representative come and bring the watershed to you.
