We won’t make you fly in and pick weeds along the fenceline….
But if you adopt a fence, you will know that your donation is being used to support the preservation of East Maui’s Watershed, our island’s source of life, culture and biodiversity.
With the adopt a fence program, for donations of $100 or more your name or organization will be honored with a plaque hung on one of our fences in the native forest.
Here are some of the things your money can buy:
$25 – machete for cutting trail
$100 – a pair of chainsaw chaps
$250 – one roll of fence (it takes 16 rolls to build one mile of fence)
$500 – personal field gear for one field technician
$1000 – two weedwhackers for brushing trail
$5000 – enough fence posts for one mile of fence
For any donation of $100.00 or more we will provide you with a plaque. Below you will find the different levels of donations:
